All of them. Dr. Sara Hammond, D.O. holds an active medical license in all 50 U.S. states, plus Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, and Guam. Patients anywhere in the United States and those jurisdictions can establish care with Aure Health by telehealth.

Is the care virtual or in person?

Accepted Answer

Both are available, but the practice is telehealth-first. Video and secure messaging visits are available nationwide. In-person visits, including DEXA body composition, are available at the Alpharetta, Georgia clinic in metro Atlanta. Aure Health does not operate physical offices outside Georgia.

What still requires in-person care?

Accepted Answer

Physical examination, in-office imaging such as DEXA, procedures, and anything requiring hands-on assessment. Blood draws are done through a national lab network near you; results are reviewed with your physician virtually. Controlled-substance prescribing follows federal and state telehealth rules, which can require an in-person visit in some situations — your physician will tell you directly if that applies to you.

How do patients establish care?

Start with the eligibility check or a discovery call. If it is a fit, you complete a comprehensive baseline visit with Dr. Hammond, lab work through a lab near you, and then a personalized plan with continuous follow-up and direct physician access between visits.

Question 5

Do you take insurance?

Accepted Answer

No. Aure Health is a direct-pay, cash-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Membership is HSA/FSA eligible, and a superbill is available on request so you can seek out-of-network reimbursement from your own insurer. Most members keep a separate insurance plan for hospitalization, specialists, and emergencies.
